PCOM offers Point of Service or HMO health insurance, including major medical, prescription and dental health coverage for residents and their families during the contract year.
PCOM also offers professional liability and disability insurance.
Free housing for residents is only offered at away-site rotations.
Residents have access to the multi-million dollar PCOM Activities Center, pictures above. Here you will find workout and recreational facilities that are literally equipped for professional athletes as these facilities are shared with the NBAs Philadelphia 76ers.
The PCOM Library is a comprehensive medical library offering more than 16,000 books and bound journal volumes in print and over 6,000 electronic resources. The library also subscribes to hundreds of online journals, textbooks and other databases that residents can access on campus or remotely when off-site. The library also offers Access Surgery, a database that includes 6 core surgical textbooks, online videos and procedures.
